Coaching

“My goal is to be the coach and mentor that I never had.”

You are smart, ambitious, and eager to make a mark in this world.

That’s why you’re reading this page right now. Whether you want to take control of your life, start your own business, increase satisfaction in your relationships, or create a more balanced lifestyle, I'm here to partner with you.

Whether you realize it or not, you likely have beliefs that are limiting you at this very moment, these are called our belief ceilings. Together, we’ll identify what and where those barriers are, and create new perspectives to better serve you. I will listen, provide guidance, resources and tools, and most importantly, hold you accountable and keep you motivated along the way. Of course, goals will be set, and I have no doubt that most of those goals will be met. But as we evolve, so do our ambitions. We won’t just work our way through a simple checklist; we will embark on a journey.

Common Questions

  • Belief ceilings are a set of beliefs that we take as facts. Just like the proverbial glass ceiling is something many women are looking to smash through, our belief ceilings, while more nuanced, can sometimes keep you from going higher. Belief ceilings are made up of our experiences, family history, religious or cultural beliefs, even general observations. They are also things that have served us and have helped shape who we are. Because they come from our surroundings and individual experiences, they can be both very difficult to identify as something limiting and challenging to unlearn. It can be done though! A growth mindset will be one of your greatest tools during the process.

  • The main difference between a coach and a therapist is that therapists will try to identify events that happened in your past that have shaped you today. Coaches, on the other hand, focus on the future version of you and put the building blocks together to get you to that future you.

  • In the same way that it can be difficult to find the right therapist or partner, finding the right coach can take some time, too. Different coaches have different expertise and if there is a specific goal you’d like to achieve, you can narrow your search by staying in that niche. Masterminds are a great way to not only meet other like-minded strangers, but if you find a coach that is also a Masterminds facilitator like myself, you can get a sense for their approach and personality before beginning a one-on-one coaching relationship. The majority of my Masterminds members have gone on to become coaching clients as well. This is also why I offer a complimentary consultation call so that we can get to know each other first.

  • Absolutely! In fact, many group coaching participants go on to become one on one coaching clients as well. Group sessions allow for all members, just like in Masterminds, to bring their unique experiences, perspectives, and knowledge to the table. And while the Venn diagram of your individual goals and personal goals are likely to overlap, succeeding in one area will bring benefits to the other as well.

  • As mentioned above, it allows all team members to come together, share, and build off each other’s knowledge and skills. Some other benefits include improved internal processes, more transparency and better communication between different departments and team members, and goal optimization at the individual, team, and organization levels. For some people, it also leads to more confidence with public speaking, higher satisfaction at work, and more strategic thinking.
